We went out of town this weekend(post coming later!) and upon our return I found my Siberian Iris blooming. They are so beautiful.

Can you eat them? They look like you could put them in a salad or a cake! :-)
perhaps you could. I am not sure which flowers are edible but there are some :)
I’m planning on planting my grandmothers Iris’s in the next few months myself. Still working on getting our greenhouse put together, but once that’s done, I should have a nice variety of violet, white and teal flowers!
I love iris. Only thing wrong with them is that they aren’t in bloom long enough. thanks for your comments!
